The Skylink comes (typically) with an AC mains adapter and we would expect most customers to modify this cable in order to hard wire the Skylink into the boat's power.
However, if you have purchased a dedicated VoIP (voice over IP) handset for making voice calls, this will be supplied with a 4-port mini PoE (power over ethernet) switch and a neat installation is therefore to use the PoE switch to power both telephone handset AND the Skylink terminal.

- There are 5 ports on the switch - do NOT use the port marked 'UPLINK' and instead use any of the ports numbered 1-4 as per the diagram below:
